Welcome To My Adventures In Cooking

A little about me and my family. Hi I am JoAnna, I have a wonderful husband and 3 beautiful children. They are my light in this crazy world and could not be anything without them. My husband is a wonderful provider and has given me the opportunity to by a stay-home mom for the time being. This has led me to more cooking! So I am glad my husband loves to eat and try all the new things I cook! My husband is from Colombia and this has inspired my more Latin style of cooking and the Spanish language as of late. But he loves to try new and different foods from all cultures which makes for some fun and sometimes interesting dishes!  The kids have not grown up enough to really want to eat all of the food I make. Although most things they will try and sometimes will be good enough to eat more than a few bites :) but they are wonderful and are still growing into their taste buds! We love to travel and so far have been back to Colombia (which has ruined me food-wise because everything is so super fresh and yummy there), Florida, Washington State, California,  and Idaho. Not very many places yet but we are going to be adding to this list in the years to come!

So I got this idea to start this blog as a way to share my recipes and recipes I have tried! I got this idea when we had family over and they said that I should post my recipes and then pin them on Pinterest...light bulb...start a new blog! Now a little about my background in cooking and my family. I grew up cooking. My mother is a wonderful cook and has taught me so much about cooking and taught me many a recipe. So in my childhood my love for cooking started to grow. When I became an adult and moved out my love for cooking blossomed! I loved everything to do with cooking! It helped to have the right tools to do so! Pampered Chef has a wonderful collection of cooking utensils that I love. Though I do cook with products from the dollar store as well. You just have to find what you like and what you can afford at the time. Most of my Pampered Chef items I received as gifts and some I purchased. They have been great through the many years I have had them. And some of my lower end cookware I have found I like better than that of my Pampered Chef stuff so it is all up to you!

From here I will be posting photos, recipes, and posts of kinds of things to do with food and maybe the occasional craft or two if I happen upon good ones!

Gracias for reading and coming to visit my Blog!
